Nutrition Coaching

The Basic Nutrition Review: The basic nutrition review is designed for individuals or couples and starts with an “Eating Checkup”. Using a personal 7-day food record, this part focuses on your eating habits in order to identify your healthy eating strengths and opportunities for improvement. The second portion is Personal Goal Setting. Using the information obtained in the Eating Checkup, direction is given to help you make positive changes toward achieving a healthier eating style by creating incremental objectives to reach your goals. This entry level nutrition session is the foundation on which all other services are built and is required before any other coaching will have a chance of success.  Individual: 90 minute session - Couple’s session: 2 full hours and is discounted so you can work together for success.
 
Personal Eating Plan:
Using the information obtained in the Basic Nutrition Review, your Nutrition Coach will work with you to develop a detailed dietary template with an appropriate calorie level to know what and how much to eat each day to support you in meeting your nutrition goals.  This is a one hour individual session.

Nutrition House Call: This 2 hour session includes a home visit from the Nutrition Coach to help you “healthy up” your kitchen.  This will include a review of the food items in your home.  Food items that reinforce your health goals are tagged with green stickers and ones that should not be replaced are tagged with red stickers.  Any other items left without tags are considered neutral foods that are acceptable to consume.

Weekly Meal Planning Assistance:
This is a perfect option to immediately follow your Home Food Evaluation.  The Nutrition Coach will work with you to provide strategies and assistance with planning your weekly menus, using recipes, and making your personalized shopping list. This 2 hour session is individualized to you and your family group.
 
40-30-30 Personal Eating Plan:
For those participating in the Advanced Functional Fitness Training, the Nutrition Coach will help you design a personal eating plan with the macronutrient target of 40% of your caloric load from predominantly low-glycemic carbohydrates, 30% from lean protein, and 30% from healthy fats.  This one hour individualized session includes a ˝ hour follow-up session to help monitor your progress.
 
Nutrition Counseling for Medical Conditions: For those who need help in managing existing medical conditions such as obesity, diabetes, and heart disease. This one hour individual session includes a ˝ hour follow up session to help monitor your progress.

 
Follow Up Reviews: Use these one hour appointments to help you stay on track and achieve your goals.  The number of visits is up to you.  Purchase a single session or a prepaid block of 4 sessions at a discounted price.


Joint Nutrition & Fitness Coaching

Complete Review: The joint Nutrition and Fitness review is designed for individuals or couples to “Jump Start” a healthy lifestyle. It includes the “Basic Nutrition Review” as well as the “Introduction to Functional Fitness” both described below. This gives you four hours of personalized, fitness and nutrition coaching. We strongly recommend doing this as a couple so you can help each other reach a level of success. The 4 hour couples session is priced to allow you both to make progress as a team, and the individual session takes less time, only 3.5 hours.
