Payment & Insurance Information:
Staying true to our business model of servicing our community, here at Camas Family Doctor we accept most insurances. We can work with almost all commercial plans, if we are not on your insurance's list let us know and most likely we'll sign up. We also accept Tri-Care Military insurance, DSHS/CUP Washington State Medicaid, Medicare and are happy to see cash pay patients at a discounted rate.
We get a lot of questions about insurance payments and the issues around accepting Medicare / Medicaid so allow us a few words on the subject. As an American citizen you should be aware that State and Federal insurance programs (Medicare, Medicaid, Tri-Care) pay about 40% of what a commercial plan pays for the same service. In order to help the most patients, all physician offices have to balance the number of patients from each insurance plan or they will fail to stay in business. So unfortunately there will be times when we will not be able to accept new Medicare / Medicaid patients. If we are unable to help you or your loved one please be patient and check back each month as we try to keep it a fluid balance so we can serve the community better.
